Katherine Takacs

After receiving her bachelors in Biology and certificate in Global Health from the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Kat headed to Portland, ME to attend the University of New England for dental school. Upon graduation, she made the cross country move from New England to Denver to begin her career in Lakewood, CO before transitioning to Englewood Dental Center.

Dr. Kat enjoys being an active member in the dental community and is a member of both the American Dental Association and the American Association of Women Dentists from whom she received the Eleanor J. Bushee Award for her leadership and community outreach initiatives. She also appreciates the necessity for continuing education and seeks every opportunity to enhance her skills in dentistry.

Dr. Kat takes pride in devoting the time and attention necessary to deliver the highest standard of care to every one of her patients while implementing the most up-to-date dental technology. Her patients’ safety and comfort are her top priorities. She is passionate about preventing oral disease, but is also always eager to help patients with their urgent dental needs in a compassionate and professional environment.

When she’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Kat enjoys doing anything active and outdoors. Since making the move to Denver, Dr. Kat loves to experience all of the beautiful views, live music and delicious food the city has to offer.”
